Hanoi [Vietnam], September 6: Khanh Thi expressed her pride in bringing the 2026 Latin Showdance World Championship to Vietnam, together with Chi Anh. For her, this is an opportunity to promote Vietnamese sports, tourism, and culture to international friends.
On her personal page, Khanh Thi announced that Vietnam had surpassed many other applicants to be selected by the International Dancesport Federation and granted the right to host the 2026 Latin Showdance World Championships. In recent years, Vietnam has hosted numerous international competitions. According to Khanh Thi, the event is scheduled to take place from December 18th to 20th. This activity not only opens up opportunities for Vietnamese athletes to compete on home soil but also demonstrates the ability to organize large tournaments by meeting requirements regarding venues, international referee systems, transportation, security, technical aspects, etc. Along with the World Championships, Vietnam will also host the Asian Senior II Latin Championships.
